Over the last 500 years, amongst the mist and rugged hills of the Scottish Highlands, a breed of cattle developed so hardy and beautiful they symbolize the area from which they came.

They were first imported to North America in the 1800’s, simply known as Highland Cattle, these animals are instantly recognized by their sweeping horns and flowing hair. They are treasured for their exceptional quality of beef. Whether gracing the tables of British Royalty or winning the Fed Beef contest at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado, the quality, flavor and tenderness of Highland Beef shines through.

Ultrasound tests on Highland bulls show tremendous rib eye areas, good marbling and little outside back fat, which all leads to beef that is naturally tender and delicious. This breed has been proven to have less overall fat, more protein, fewer calories and many other health benefits over other grass fed breeds.
